Did you ever feel the need to get away from it all – work, home, cell phone, email? A light hearted look at the ultimate getaway. The background fabric is hand painted. I used cottons, organza, paint, applique, embroidery, all stitched and quilted by hand. This item is on display at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum in Almonte, Ontario from June 23 until August 18, 2012.
